Color Project 1- CALM

For this project, I was to represent the emotion of calm through shapes and colors. I wanted to create a contrast between water and space. The colors don't necessarily represent space, but I wanted colors that are calming on the eyes. The abstract blue shapes represent water in motion, sort of flowing. The yellow stripes represent shooting stars and the green in the middle is to represent an object flying from space.

Black and White Composition

For this composition, I only used black and white. I changed some of the color intensity to create shades of grey. I wanted to make it easier on the eyes by balancing darker colors on both the right and left side of the page, sort of like reading from left to right. I also wanted to create some contrast from all the smooth circles and straight edges by adding the circle that looks like it is dripping.
